Tottenham Hotspur is a world-famous football club based in North London. Off the pitch, the Club has a strong and successful business model centred around building a platform for long-term success, which includes a new world-class stadium which opened in April 2019.
The club operates out of multiple sites, including a world-class Training Centre in Enfield where the position of First Team Strength & Conditioning Coach is based. The successful candidate will work within an established multidisciplinary medical team with an impeccable record of success in elite player management and performance.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of an industry leading strength and conditioning program for all first team players. Working alongside the first team sports science department, the role requires the design and delivery of all pre-training and post-training gym-based sessions, applying scientific principles to aid in enhancing physical performance and athletic development.
In addition to their primary role of overseeing the strength and conditioning program, the successful applicant will assist in the design and delivery of strength and conditioning programs for players returning from injury, contribute to the research and development of the sports science and medical department through attendance and delivery of CPD, and providing match day sports science support as required. As a result, the role requires an individual who is able to perform such hours as necessary to complete their roles and responsibilities, which will require travel and the working of unsociable hours including weekends and bank holidays.
