About The Role
Leicester City Academy are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Performance Analyst to work within our Youth Development Phase. This exciting role will primarily work with the U15 and U16 age groups but will also support individual player development from U12. The ideal candidate will have a football background and/or a qualification at undergraduate level in a sports-related course with experience of delivering performance analysis support in an elite football/sport environment.
Based at Leicester City Football Club’s Training Ground, the key duties of this role include:
– Conducting match and player coding to provide team and individual statistical and video content against category 1 and 2 oppositions
– Preparing and delivering group feedback sessions to assist player development using objective and statistical data
– Providing pre-match analysis for all home U16 games and home U15 games
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of a 2:1 Sports Science/Performance Analysis or other relatable degree and or experience in football. They will have experience in using SportsCode analysis software programs. They will have excellent clear presentation skills, including creating and delivering. They will have excellent accuracy and attention to detail in the work they produce.
