U23 Head Coach – Fulham

We are seeking a highly motivated, skillful, and enthusiastic individual to join our Academy Coaching team as U23 Head Coach, supporting player development within the PDP phase and its transition through to first team football.

Working at our Academy training ground you will play a key role as part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting individual players in realising their potential. Leading the football development of players, you will be required to develop impactful and trusting relationships, as well as appropriate and demanding environments in order to support the learning and readiness of players as they prepare to transition out of the Academy pathway.

As Head Coach you will be responsible for the individual development plans of players, season plans for the wider group and supporting the Head of Player Development and Academy Director in the identification and support of Loan experiences.

The demanding nature of U23 football will require you to be able to coach and develop players for multiple pathways, these may include into the Clubs first team squad, outside of the Club as part of continued development through Loans, and/or beyond football be that in education or an alternative career. To support players through these transitions the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of this part of the pathway, through their own playing or coaching experiences.

We are seeking a forward-thinking candidate who can work confidently with minimal supervision and who demonstrates a commitment to continuously developing themselves professionally, with a willingness to be challenged. You should also be prepared for irregular and unsociable working schedules at times, including evenings and weekends.

Candidates are required to hold a Pro License and Advanced Youth Award. Candidates should also hold in date Basic First Aid for Sport and FA safeguarding qualifications.
