Technical Director & Coaches – SAP (Football/Soccer)

Technical Director:

Reporting directly to the Association Technical Director, the SAP TD will be responsible but not limited to the below:

• Coordinate and manage the ESFA SAP trial process (Oct/Nov)
• Work with the Association TD to design and deliver the yearly program
• Ensure all coaches adhere to the ESFA standards, playing style and policies
• Attend training sessions and match days as per the calendar/draw
• Oversee match day operations which includes but not limited to field set up/pack down, coaches and managers completing their roles
• Evaluating players mid year and end of season.

The program runs between October-August.

Coaches:

ESFA are seeking interest from coaches for the 2019 SAP season (Oct-August) in following age groups:

• Mixed SAP u9, u10, u11 and u12s
• Girls SAP u10, u11, u12, and u13s

Roles and responsibilites for ESFA coaches are as follows, but not limited to:

• Design training session based around the ESFA training model and cycles
• Attend all training sessions and matches as required
• Assist with identification and selection of talented players during the trial period
• Work within the coaching team environment at ESFA and report directly to the SAP and Association Technical Director
• Ensure that you maintain the values and philosophies of ESFA
• When required, prepare evaluation reports for players within the program
• Assist other coaches and age groups on match days or where possible when required

As part of the ESFA coaching team, ESFA will support and encourage continual learning through subsidised coaching courses (where applicable), coaching forums and elite training visits through its established network.

Opportunites will also be available to coaches through other coaching opportunities such as holiday camps, development programs and various other programs ESFA programs planned for 2019.

As a requirement, coaches must hold Working With Childrens Check, a current FFA/AFC C-Licence (or in the process of obtaining one) and must hold valid working permits/visas.
