Gabriel Silva’s SCU Torreense promoted to Liga Portugal 2

Gabriel Silva, our instructor and Assistant Coach at SCU Torreense, achieved this Saturday the club’s promotion to Liga Portugal 2 – the Portuguese second-tier league –, after a home victory over Vitória SC B by 3-0.

Yuran, Simão Rocha and Mateus have scored the goals that helped the Portuguese club to return to professional competition 24 years later.

On May 14, SCU Torreense will compete against UD Oliveirense, also promoted to Liga Portugal 2, for the historic title of Liga 3’s first edition – a professional national league organized by the Portuguese Football Federation.

Former Fitness Coach at clubs such as Boavista FC, CD Aves and Al Fayha, Gabriel Silva is the trainer of the “How to design a Soccer Training Microcycle?” certified course at Soccer HUB, in which he addresses the main issues on how to develop the game plan according to the team principles and opponent features.
