Miguel Moita, our instructor and Soccer Analyst at Al-Hilal SFC, won the 2021-2022 Saudi Super Cup this Thursday, after defeating Al-Faisaly FC in a penalty-kick shootout (4-3; 2-2 draw after 90 minutes) at the King Fahd International Stadium, in Riyadh.
Mohammed Al-Amri and Romain Amalfitano scored the first two goals of the match for Al-Faisaly FC. On the other side, Salem Al Dawsari and Yasser Al-Shahrani were the scorers who set the equalizer for the formation led by Leonardo Jardim.
The Saudi Super Cup is the 64th trophy in the history of Al-Hilal SFC and the second achieved in just six weeks after the 2021 Asian Football Confederation Champions League final win against the Korean-side Pohang Steelers, at the same stadium, in November.
Former analyst in teams such as AS Monaco, Olympiacos FC and Sporting CP, Miguel Moita is the trainer of the “Building a philosophy – Team identity and Soccer Analysis“ online course at Soccer HUB, in which he explains in detail how to develop a team’s philosophy and the role of the leader in the process.
